Warning...Do not expose to heat...

While driving down Tropicana Ave, about 1 - 2 months ago, in my work truck, I passed by this scene and was able to take a pic with my phone just in the nick of time. I have no idea what was in the truck, or how it happened, but whatever it was sure caused a bit of a mess. By the time I passed by this scene it was pretty much all cleared and cleaned out, but bits and pieces of debris were here and there around the scene. I'm just glad I wasn't next to the truck when whatever it was tripped from..the heat I would guesstimate. Luckily though, the particular road he is on is not heavily traveled all the time, so there's a good chance no one or thing was injured, expect for his truck. Poor truck..

I-15 Travels and Traffic

So you may not be able to see it too well on the small version of this photo (unless you click on it), but there is a whole-lotta traffic coming up I-15 Northbound. When I took this picture I was about 30 miles out of Vegas, heading South after enjoying a couple of days up in Utah and seeing my Mission Pres' 'Homecoming' talk.

I did see some construction signs along I-15 Northbound, and I think it was down to One Lane for some long stretches. ...So........I am Very Glad I went north when I did!

Cookie Tires ? ...

While driving down the freeway several months ago I spotted this guy ahead of me, riding his motorcycle on what looks like bicycle tires. I kept my distance for: 1- His safety and out of respect for a safe following distance; and 2- I was afraid those tiny tires were going to blow-out any second, sending tire chunks (and possibly the rider too), back my direction.

Is it just me, or does this just not look right? I would be afraid to even turn on that bike... yikes! ... Anyhow, this was the most peculiar thing I saw that day, back in May 2010.
